I'm sharing a  few photos from the collective exhibition "Benedetti Artisti" of my work inspired by the  environment  of the abandoned and dismissed  mill where the exhibition was held . The proposal of  my works explores and interprets the nature of the place, proposing the transformation of the natural element: the flour.

You can see more photos of the  exhibition on my facebook page :   https://www.facebook.com/pages/Jane-Minter-Artist/339126159492769

Jane Minter

Sadami thanks for your good wishes ...Rowland Hilder gave me my first ever watercolour book "STARTING WITH WATERCOLOUR" when I visIted his studio ... in the last chapter THE WATERCOLOUR AND PASTE MEDIuM he illustrates and talks about method mixing watercolour with a simple adhesive flour and water paste to achieve textures and how John Sell Cotman developed this technique in his later works using rice paste... the mill and exhibition gave me a chance to start exploring this fascinating process ... lots of swatches and experiments
