Shakesphere wrote his tradegy Romeo and Juilet (1596) based on the novel of Luigi Da Porto ( 1485 - 1529) of Vicenza . The castles of Romeo and Juilet built in 975 are claimed to be the inspiration for Luigi Da Porto's novel and legend of Romeo and Juilet.

Although I 've made lots of colour wheels and swatches in the past ...I decided it would be invaluable learning experience to start working again on the basic colour wheels with combinations and variations of the three primaries red + yellow + blue based on Maggie's initial colour tutorials... yesterday I systematically made about 15 small simple colour triangles to keep as references .. .....here are a few examples
I've been re- reading a chapter on World of colour - Painting Triangles "Watercolour Painting" by Jean Louis Morelle which is fascinating . Nita's Leland's "Exploring Colour" and "confident COLOUR " are also both great reference books.
....couldn't resist painting this study of an old enamelled cast iron sink which I chose and interpreted from one of the many course reference photos...this was my last lesson of the course with Marina Macolin .
